I have had many days where I drove to the office, worked on my laptop exclusively and then drove home.

Every task that we used to do in offices from communication and collaboration to administration and delegation has been appified.

Even learning and planning can be done in apps. Software has hollowed out the office.

Offices are now design studios, social clubs and opportunities to exercise ones ego. Work is not equal to office and office is not equal to work. Especially if my coffee elsewhere is better

Which begs the question. Why?

Covid is the burning platform to force us to do what is rational.
