Financially strained consumers are unlikely to be splurging on upgrades. Product firms will be conserving cash. This is just to recoup their investments from lower sales, swings down market and more discounting to move inventory. The net result of this will be freedom from choice for many of us. Brace yourself to take better care of your phone. You will be having it for twice as long as planned.
