In need of strong leadership

Can the true leaders stand.

SA ticks every one of these boxes on bad leadership.

We have final fatal validation that SA is not led by politicians. It’s led by communities. Everything that the center has touched has been an abysmal failure. The police response was uncoordinated, intelligence was lacking , the army was late and the levels of coordination, motivation, direction or alignment from ministers was non-existent. The fact that most communities are safe had to do with their self organisation in the face of abandonment.

There have been two revolutions this week. The one was visible on our screens but the other was invisible. The stepping up of informal community leaders to unite , serve and protect. The new Sa we build will continue in this vein. Complete utter and total disdain for a party unable to even manage itself.

Expect Sa to be rebuilt around true invisible community leaders who won’t be on tv in flashy cars , dresses or with useless bodyguards. The rebuilding and rescue response is totally privately driven. Millions of civil servants are useless at helping the most stricken. The less said about bloated ministries the better. And where is the voice of business leaders in all of this??!

These revolutions have just started. It’s clear that they are not over. The upcoming elections must count!
